Welcome to the holiday home Quers!
Our holiday home for up to 3 people is located in the historic centre of Wolsfeld in the beautiful southern Eifel region between Bitburg and Echternach/Luxembourg.
The Trier Quereinhaus dating back to 1866 has been lovingly restored according to historical models using ecological building materials such as clay, lime, straw, jute and solid wood.
Feel the unique atmosphere of a historic house made of natural materials.

Explore the South Eifel Nature Park and the Mullerthal in Luxembourg on numerous hiking and cycling trails. Visit the oldest city in Germany, Trier, with its buildings dating back to Roman times or the capital of Luxembourg, which is also well worth a visit.
Quers house was built in 1866. The name Quers is the old house name and an Eifel tradition.
My great-grandfather Quirin Schmitt lived there with his family and Quirin became Quer through the Eifel dialect. And since then the house has been called "Quers Haus" throughout the village and the descendants are called "Quers".
Wolsfeld is located between Bitburg and Echternach/Luxembourg and very central to reach all sightseeings very quickly. There is a bakery and a butcher’s shop with a small selection of groceries in the village. For larger purchases you can go to Bitburg or Irrel.
There are farms, so you can expect tractors and also harvesters at harvest time. People drive to work and do her daily business, which is why there are more cars on the roads during rush hour.than usual. Wolsfeld is not a town, but it is also not a lonely area without people, animals and car. Theatres, cinemas and so on are not to be found here. It is the right place for hiking and cycling.
The holiday home is unfortunately not barrier-free. Climbing stairs is necessary.
